Paul's Xtreme Skydiving is the original skydiving company in Cairns.

Commonly known as Paul's Parachuting our new look design and name is in conjunction with our upgraded office and equipment.

We have 2 spectacular drop zones, Cairns and Mission Beach. Both of our drop zone locations are what we believe are the ultimate places in the world to skydive. Drop Zones

Cairns

Taking off at the international airport we fly over the city with breathtaking views of the Trinity inlet and the rainforest. As we climb to height we fly via the tablelands and over the towns water supply, Copolode Dam. We exit just south of the city between 2 mountain ranges in the beautiful green valley overlooking the City and the Trinity inlet. This is one of the 'prettiest' spots you'll ever get to jump. That's why our instructors love working here because the scenery never gets boring!
                                

Mission Beach

We use the Tully airport to take off from, then flying over rainforest to get out over the ocean. As we climb to height you can see Dunk Is. and many of the smaller uninhibited Islands around the area. On jump run, we fly along the coastline as we throw ourselves at the ground taking in some of the most amazing views of the reef and the beach. Under the parachute you may even get to see some wildlife swimming in the ocean if your lucky. Landing on the beach, this is one spot you won't be forgetting in a hurry!

Please Note

Mission Beach - This is a full day tour and a 2 hr transfer each way from Cairns. If staying in Mission Beach then no transfers required.

Cairns - Please allow approx. 2 hrs for your skydive.

The Jump

Whichever time slot you decide to come play, we'll pick you up and take you to our office to complete the formalities of paper work and waiver forms etc. Collect some money from you and then it's all PLAY TIME!!!!

From here you get to meet your instructor, receive the required training necessary to make your skydive more comfortable, get harnessed up and then out to the plane. It's that simple! From here you'll get a scenic 20-25 min flight flying over the tropical rainforests and the reef before getting securely attached to your instructor, another brief practice in the plane and then it's time to move to the open door.

We'll talk you through the exit procedure and then out we GO! Our instructors will take care of all the hard work while you plummet straight down towards the earth at over 200 km/h (120mph) having the time of your life. With a bit of luck, the parachute will be open by 4000ft and then we float to the ground like a bird for the softest of landings. We guarantee it'll be the best thing you'll ever do with your clothes on (or off for that matter!).

From there we go back to our office where we edit the video's and get to view them on the big screen. Receive your first jump certificate and have a chance to check out the merchandise we have on offer for you to show off to all your friends and family. Then we take you back to your accommodation to enjoy the rest of the day.
